Denver Solid Waste Management’s Keep Denver Beautiful program is hosting a FREE, one-day tire collection event on Saturday, October 12 at the Denver Public Works Central Platte Facility 1271 West Bayaud Ave. from 8:00am-12:00pm. Since tires are not accepted in Denver’s trash carts, this event is a great opportunity to not only get rid of tires cluttering your own property, but to also beautify your neighborhood by removing illegally dumped tires that often collect in alleys, parks, and community spaces.
ADDITIONAL EVENT GUIDELINES AND INFORMATION:
Limit of 9 tires per vehicle (state regulation).
Only clean, passenger-vehicle tires are accepted.
NO rims or tires left on rims will be accepted.
NO tractor or loader tires will be accepted.
The FREE Residential Tire Collection event is sponsored by Denver Recycles, a program of the City & County of Denver’s Public Works/Solid Waste Management Department.
